After the application documents have been submitted, candidates will be selected through an internal screening process at TUAT. The final result of the selection, as determined by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), will be officially communicated by TUAT.

At TUAT, applications are accepted under the University Recommendation system through two categories: the general category and the special category.
